Md. Salah Uddin Sarker
Seasoned Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) professional with over 15 years of experience in research, program monitoring, donor reporting, and organizational capacity strengthening within the development sector of Bangladesh.
Mr. Sarker holds both BSS and MSS degrees in Anthropology from Jahangirnagar University, achieving First Class in his MSS. He possesses strong expertise in qualitative and quantitative research, data analysis, Theory of Change, Logical Framework, donor reporting, organizational capacity assessment, and digital data collection systems including SPSS, KoboToolbox, and Solstice.
He currently serves as Technical Specialist-M&E at Population Services and Traning Center (PSTC) under Global Fund HIV Program in Bangladesh focuses on delivering prioritized HIV prevention, treatment, and support services to key populations.
Previously, he worked as Manager-M&E at RedOrange Media and Communications under the Plastic Free Rivers and Seas for South Asia (PLEASE) Project supported by the World Bank through UNOPS and MEL Officer at Simavi Bangladesh for the EU-supported Our Lives, Our Health, Our Futures (OLHF) programme and served for more than seven years as Program Officer-M&E at Family Planning Association of Bangladesh under the SRHR-focused Unite for Body Rights (UBR) programme supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. His professional background also includes research and M&E roles with BRAC International, NGO Forum for Public Health, and Action for Social Development (ASD).
His technical strengths extend to SRHR, GBV, MHM, gender equality, feminist principles, and participatory learning approaches such as Most Significant Change (MSC). He has also participated in several international trainings and workshops in Malaysia, the Netherlands, India, and Nepal on Outcome Harvesting, advocacy, youth-friendly services, and outcome measurement.
